Jake F*cking Castle

When he walks into a room, he owns it. He consumes my very breath and melts my delicate little panties. From the moment he set eyes on me, he decided I was his. No one – not even my brother, Nix – was going to tell him otherwise. It doesn’t matter that Nix is President of the Kings MC Club. Jake wants what he wants, and he’ll set out to get it, whatever the cost.

Jake may be an arrogant asshole, but there’s no denying the hold he has over me. His fierce, carnal need to make me his, and his alone, is a snare I can’t escape. And truth be told, I don’t want to.

But when my life becomes threatened, Jake Castle is the only man my brother trusts to protect me. He knows Jake will do anything to keep me safe.

Anything.

Lauren's Review
***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review - Lauren / Scandalous Book Blog***

I just have to start by saying, Betty Shreffler you are amazing!! This has got to be one of the best MC books I’ve read. Right from the start this book held me captive, sucking me in right until the end.
Liz has returned home after 4 years at college, training and working as a nurse, moving back home with her brother Nix who is the president of a motor cycle club, most people would find that intimidating but not Liz, this is the life that she grew up in, where her friends and family are, this is her home. Of course Liz is all grown up now and every single guy at the club has his eye on her which Nix is not happy about. On her first night back at the club house Liz meets Jake and Nix instantly warns her off him, which of course just makes her want him more. But she respects her brother and try’s to stay away from him, unfortunately Jake didn’t get the same memo!
Jake is known around the clubhouse as a player, picking up and dropping women as he pleases. The minute he see Liz he wants her and no one will get in his way not even her brother. After winning a fighting competition at the club he wins a date with her, he’s expecting this to be easy but Liz is holding her ground, she’s not like the other women he’s been with and he loves it.
Liz’s mind and body are taking her in two completely different directions when it comes to jake, she knows he’s bad news but her body responds to him in a way she’s never felt before and she just can’t help herself, but does being with a bad boy ever turn out well? Will he show his true colours or prove everyone else wrong?
Castle of Kings follows Liz and Jake’s relationship through their passionate highs and there disastrous lows. The story pulls every emotion you have, one minute loving Jake, the next wanting to rip off a certain body part! I felt a connection to Liz straight away and was routing for her happiness all the way through.
I just couldn’t put this book down, it’s got a little bit of everything a girl wants from a MC book, an absolutely a must read.
