Wow...this book stole my heart. It wasn't always the easiest story to read, yet it was one of the best book so far of 2017.
This is Ethan and Pipers story. We met Ethan in #1 of this series and I couldn't wait to get my hands on his story. He intrigued me and I was not left disappointed.
Hooked from beginning to end, I read this book in 1 sitting.
Piper and Ethan both have a past that effects their future. They come into each others life at a time that wasn't right for one another however they have a connection and its slow burning. Thrown together, they find it hard to resist one another.
When their pasts come to light, none of them are pretty or easy but they are theirs and for them to make a future they have to make peace with the past.
Together they try to move forward and they slowly build each other up. They are the balm to each others sore's.
Then the past is very much back and seems to be part of their future weather they choose it or not.
How will this couple deal with the latest bump in the road?
Will Ethan resort to his past coping mechanism?
Will they face it together?
Will they get their HEA?
I would highly recommend this book to another reader!!!
