My name is Rebecca Wilson and I’m an awful person.

“I really hope I can make it up to our floor. I’m a little out of shape.” Had I really just said that?
Max let his eyes drift down my body, then back up. I wanted to squirm and look away, but I didn’t. “You look like you’re in great shape to me.”
“Well, when you are carrying me up a flight of stairs because I can’t breathe, you’ll see I’m not.” I needed to shut up.
I took off up the stairs, leaving Max to trail behind me. Midway up the third flight, I shivered from a vent and almost stopped in my tracks when the air coasted across my skin. My dress was wet and clinging to my ass, giving Max a clear view of exactly how big it is. Great!
Picking up my pace, I tried to take two stairs at a time, my ass and I needing to get far, far away from him. My cheeks burned as I thought about how much more of my curvy body he could also see. “Are you trying to get away from me?”
“No,” I replied, a little winded. “Why would you ask that?”
I rounded the landing and was about to begin the next flight when his arm wrapped around my waist. “Because you’re practically running. And when you run from me, I don’t have the pleasure of staring at this incredible ass.” He let his free hand fall to my butt and grabbed it, his words and actions shooting pleasure straight to my core. My clit yearned for him. This man was intoxicating.
Max traced his lips along my neck and began nibbling. I moaned and let my head fall back against him, my pussy clenching in need. “I want you,” I heard myself blurting out in a breathy whisper. I couldn’t let myself think about Doug. I needed this—needed this night to have fun and forget my asshole boyfriend. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn’t control the lust I felt for this man. He was just too damn tempting. “Just for tonight,” I added, letting him know I didn’t plan on seeing him again. After this one fun night, I could go back home to Doug and live like a little domesticated housewife.

I love Chloe Maxx writing, so when I heard there was a new book I got really excited.
Im not a massive fan of cheating but some how in this book it works, I get it, I understand why it had to be that way.
Rebecca is going through a rough patch in her relationship with Doug. The guy is a total Douch. Whilst she is away on a weekend break with friends she meets Max. Something about Max draws her in. When one thing leads to another Rebecca sees it for what it really is.
When this couple meet each other again, its time for Rebecca to make some decisions. If she wants things to work with Max she must ditch her boyfriend for starters.
With a connection that is far more than physical things could be great for these two...However insecurities are always there and the way they first come together may come back to haunt them both.
With twists and turns along the way this was an easy, enjoyable read. It was great to have dual POV and this helped with the depth of the story. I cant wait to see what Chloe has in store for us next.
Chloe Maxx was born and raised in rural Oklahoma. She now resides in a small town, not far from where she grew up, with her husband and two boys. She loves being outdoors, the salty smell of the ocean, relaxing ocean waves, caffeine, and reading any book that has a little romance.
