When Ethan awoke, sunlight was streaming through his window, and based on the tent in his sheets, Gabby was still on his mind. He closed his eyes and started counting backward from fifty, his morning tradition to relieve the pressure so that he could leave the bedroom without being indecent in front of Gram.
His dick was just starting to relax when his phone pinged with an incoming text. Welcoming the distraction, he reached over and grabbed it off the nightstand.
The text was from Gabby. Thinking about you this morning and hoping that problem we talked about hasn’t gotten too hard to handle.
She’d inserted a little winking emoticon at the end, followed by a sunrise and a tree. Morning wood. And yep, that problem had just gotten really hard again.
Killing me. He texted back.
That bad, huh?
Oh yeah, it was bad. Getting worse by the second.

He thrust his phone back onto the bedside table and lay there, concentrating on the sounds of Gram moving around in the kitchen until his dick finally accepted defeat. Then he went down the hall and took a long, cold shower.

I enjoyed this book and liked the characters. Even with the underlining serious part of the story there was still fun.
I found it easy to loose myself in this story and emotions definitely ran wild
Ethan and his friends have returned to the town they grew up to follow a dream of opening up their own adult adventure playground called Off The Grid. Ethan has been bough up by his gran and she is everything to him but when she finds out she is poorly and there is nothing they can do except keep her comfortable he is heartbroken. With the knowledge of his grans limited time , Ethan is doing everything in his power for her to have and see all the things she wishes for. Its whilst he is out trying to finalise the plans for his new company that he stumbles upon a woman who has not realise she is trespassing. Startling her he soon realises that she has disturbed a yellow back nest and that leads to a whole turn of different events. Gabby is just out of a rocky relationship and with an Ex that will not take no for an answer and parents who just don't understand she finds herself seeking solace in a beautiful cabin, in a little town. When she is continuously stung and finds herself sat on her ass in the lake, she tries to fight the pull to the man who is trying to help her.
The couple find themselves thrown together when a dying woman reveals one of the items on her bucket list is to see her grandson settled. Ethan comes up with a plan...He will get Gabby to pretend they are together then once his gran passes away they can go their separate ways. Ethan is pretty happy to go along with this idea, Gabby is stunning and he is definitely attracted to her....Gabby on the other hand isn't as keen, there is no doubt the man is an Adonis but she is still recovering from a broken heart.
With lines blurring between the couple and the difference between real and fake getting harder to tell whats in store for them.
Will Gran find out the truth?
Will Gabby loose her heart again?
