This Book was a fantastic mix of everything, we get an Erotic Thriller and A Love Story
with enough suspense to have us on the edge of our seats and cursing at our kindles.
This book gripped me within the first paragraph, Jake just had to have Ella and Ella
wasn’t complaining (maybe just a little moaning). With hot sessions at the gym he
becomes obsessed, but Ella belongs to Samuel…the same man that had an affair with
Jakes wife and caused his already failing marriage to end in a divorce.
Jake has a past and not a great one, he is connected to the mob and used to be an
underground fighter but he has turned his life around and is now a CEO of a well
established business. When he first took Ella it was more out of revenge against Samuel
but he quickly becomes obsessed with her and this dirty, dominant alpha try’s to force her
hand but is shocked by what Ella reveals, she needs certain things in a relationship and
Jake realizes he cant give her them and sends her away.
Ella is in a relationship with Samuel but not all is as it seems, she has secrets that she
can’t tell until the time is right. Ella has become someone that she had to be to get the
answers she requires but this relationship with Jake was never supposed to happen and
she is treading a very dangerous line between life and death.
Then one night it all changes for the both of them, Ella knows she will never get the
answers she wanted whilst worrying that she will be forever looking over he shoulder but
doesn’t know who it is she is running from AND Jake is in pieces, what has happened to
Ella, can he help her, can he be everything she needs or can he change her desires.
This book jumps straight in but you will never be disappointed there is always another
twist at the turn of a page, always a little more suspense that will have you holding your
breath, always another hot sex scene that will have u clench your thighs and always
another outburst from Jake that will make you swoon a little more.
I work as a freelance database administrator, and when I'm not geeking out, I write romantic suspense novels. I live in Richmond, Va--less than two hours away from Washington DC--so most of the settings of my books are in the nation's capital--of course, I'm not averse to creating fictional towns and cities. ;)
When I'm not arguing with the alpha male characters in my head, I love to watch high-octane action movies.
