REVIEW~~BEAUTY SERIES By Georgia Cates

They agreed on three months...but their love knew no boundaries.

Jack McLachlan is a winemaking magnate and easily one of Australia’s most eligible bachelors. His success and wealth make him no stranger to the complications of romantic relationships and that’s why he goes to extreme measures to avoid the hassle. He prefers simplicity in the form of a beautiful female companion with no strings attached. He arranges relationships like business deals and they’re always the same. No long term relationships. No real names.

It’s his game and his rules. He’s content to play as usual, but when Laurelyn Prescott enters his life, his strategy must change because this player is like none he's ever encountered. His world is turned on its head after he begins a three-month affair with the beautiful American musician. Nothing goes according to plan and as he breaks more and more of his own rules for her, she’s exceptionally close to becoming something he never thought possible. His ultimate game changer.

Not recommended for younger readers due to sexual content and language.

Beauty from pain  is a book I have been wanting to read for a very long time, and when the opportunity came up I just couldn't resist.
From ch 1, I love Laurelyn her sarcasm and snarky attitude had me laughing and wanting to be her friend.
Addison I love her, she's a carefree, fun, good time kind of girl and a really good friend.

Jack, what the..... Who is this motherfucker? I instantly dislike him, but I was also curious to find out why he is the way he is. And to see the potential relationship between him and Lourie

Good god only 60% in but this book has so much complexity and so much development that its very hard to express in words how everything is building, more blocks are falling into place.
I was completely sucked in and I would not have it any other way. This book is turning out to be so much more than I ever expected.
Beauty from pain is a perfect example of the beauty of love and sometimes the pain it can cause. Loving someone has the potential to cause real hurt and pain.
This book is touching, funny, wonderfully written and above all beautiful everything about this book can be described as beautiful.
Halfway through I was crazy for Jack Henry despite my earlier judgement, he is a man with heart soul and passion.

How do you move on when he’s every song you sing?

After Laurelyn Prescott walks away from the love of her life, she returns to Nashville to pursue the only dream she has left. Determined to find a distraction from the pain of losing Jack Henry, she immerses herself in her music. But with her old life comes old acquaintances and new expectations. When Laurelyn refuses her record producer’s outrageous demands, she finds herself without a career—until an unforeseen opportunity presents itself. From there it’s a rocket ride straight to the top where Laurelyn finds the success she’s always dreamed of. Will it be enough to bring her the happiness she so deserves, or will the absence of Jack Henry leave her wanting more?

Jack Henry McLachlan never expected to fall in love with Laurelyn Prescott—but he did. After he foolishly let her slip through his fingers, he spends three months searching for her, but their reunion doesn’t come easy. The woman he finds isn’t the same one who drifted away without a goodbye. No longer an insecure girl on an Australian adventure, this Laurelyn is a successful musician with a promising career. Her dreams are becoming a reality, and Jack is terrified his American girl won’t have a place for him in her new life. With only a month to convince her otherwise, will it be enough time to make her visualize a life beyond the glitz and glamour, a life that includes him?

Beauty from surrender picks up right where beauty from pain ended: Lauralynn is brokenhearted and under the impression that Jack Henry and has no feelings for her, she's in despair and a world of hurt.
After finally confronting and facing his feelings, Jack has lost the only woman he's ever loved.
Their agreement there was no real personal information given about each other and because Laurelyn left without saying goodbye to Jack, he has no real identifying information about her.
Will it be too late when Jack Henry finally finds the women he loves?

A great second book, normally middle books are fillers or just OK, but this book is so much more.  It's  about two people not looking for loving finding love and  finding a way to make that love work and grow.

Lauralynn is in a completely different place in her life than she was when she first went to Australia and met Jack Henry.  Her career is taking off, the father who wanted nothing to do with her is now back in her life.

When Jack Henry turns up in her life agin offering her what she wanted so badly moths ago, will she be able to leave her life and career to start all over agin down under with the man of her dreams?
Jack Henry has a past and its about to come and bite him in the backside
Will their relationship survive?

Beauty From Love is an adult contemporary novel and is not intended for younger readers due to mature content

"we began strangers ---as most couples do ---but our beginning was so much more complicated."

Jack Henry and Laurelyn's relationship was only supposed to be a once in a lifetime affair with no strings attached and no real identity. However, fate had other plans in store and that once in a lifetime affair turned out to be a once in a lifetime epic kind of love.
Their journey has come a long way from summer fling to love and marriage. I am so glad I was also to read and take that journey with these characters. I was fully engaged until the very last word.

“I’m going to give you some advice because you’re still a new wife—and because my son can be a little shit at times. I know; I’m his mum.” She looks around as though she’s about to reveal top-secret information. “Nookie equals power and there’s a reason he wants it from you all the time. It levels the playing field. Don’t like something he’s doing? Take the nookie away. Get the results you want. Need him to see things your way but he refuses? Withhold the nookie and he’ll make the fastest attitude adjustment you’ve ever seen. That’s how you work it, darling. You use the power of the nookie to get the results you want.”

Oh my goodness! their has never been a mother character I love more than Margret, Jack Henry's mother. Awesome does not even begin to describe her, OMG amazing this women had me laughing until I nearly pissed myself.  From the first book to the very last page of Beauty from love Margret has been the highlight providing laughter and sweet touching moments.
The entire McLachlan clan welcomed Laurie with open arms and gave her the family she has never really had.

Beauty from Love the final instalment in the beauty series, Jack and L are embarking on their life together as man and wife, but surprise -surprise life has more curve ball in store in the form of more drama from Jack's past. Once gain another one of his former companion has come out of the woodworks threatening to derail the couples happiness.

Will this be the final nail in the coffin that will tear these two apart?
After enduring so much, will Jack and Lourie finally get the HEA they both so deserve?

“I felt that.” And I feel something else as well. Love—the true and real kind."

I loved this series, all three books stood out and held their own. Georgia Cates did a fantastic job delivering three well-written well-rounded book with amazing likable characters.

This series was a joy to read and I would highly recommend.
