This book is a debut by J Bailes and didn't she do well.
Poor Allie has suffered so much heartache - her father dies , her long term boyfriend leaves her and then her brother is killed in action.
The story is told in Allies P.O.V and it kept my interest all the way through, I thought Allie was a little childish in some of the things she did, especially her mums relationship with Jack.
Allie has great friends in Sophie and Blake (who she later falls in love with) - it does take her a while though. Blake is a great guy , everything you would want in a man and he is a doctor to !!
All is going well until Allie's ex-boyfriend turns up , awkward !!!!!!!!
Don't want to go into too much detail as I don't want to spoil it but there are a few twists in the book that I didn't see coming.
The story ended on a cliffhanger (sob) the book title is definitely apt as it has left me shattered and shaken.
Will I be reading a second book ......... Hell yeah !!!!!!!
