Okay, What on Earth was Jen thinking when she was only dating guys named Dave??
Jen is our good girl that is not so sure she wants to be good. Jen does not want to be seen as a slut, but she also wants to have a little experience before she marries. When it comes to guys, however, she can be very naive. First there is our Dave #1, David. David is Jen's best friend. She had romantic thoughts of him cross her mind, but she knew nothing could happen because he had a long term girlfriend. Well until they broke up. Jen got too close to him while he was still pining over his lost love and wound up hurt. After he hurt her, she finally decided to forgive him if he did her a favor. Now this is where good girl starts turning bad!!
Then there is Dave #2 (this one goes by Dave). He is the hot, suave punk guy. Unfortunately, he is also a man whore and David's house mate!! He was far from a good guy for Jen, but only her friends seemed to notice. Well, until she finally gave into him a little and he seemed to kick her to the curb.
Now we also have Big D, Dave #3. He is a complete sweetheart and a frat boy. He takes things slow with Jen. Hell, way slower than she would like! She tries to push him along and the first time they get further than kissing it also ends on a quite embarrassing note. Things continue to go well between them, slows down then speeds back up. They soon become quite the serious couple, but will she be ready to take their relationship further?
Which Dave will be her "one"? Who will she decide to get her "experience before marriage" with? Will she regret the "experience" she wanted? There is only one way to find out!! You must read this book!!

Three Daves is written in third person. The main focus throughout it on our main character Jen. The author, Nicki Elson, allows us to still understand Jen through her feelings and thoughts also. We do not get very in depth personally with other characters, but because of how each part is written and the focus on each relationship we do get a good understanding of each character. Very well written!

About the Author

Writing wasn't something Nicki set out to do; it just sort of happened when she realized writing reports was by far her favorite part of her investment consulting position. She traded stock allocation and diversification for story arcs and dialogue and now weaves her creative writing time in with the other activities of her busy life with her family in the Chicago suburbs.

Nicki writes with two goals in mind: #1 to keep the characters realistic, even when their circumstances are anything but, and #2 to make the reader feel.
