Synopsis:

Distorted is one hell of a love triangle! Aly has been in love with her boss, Paul, for three years, but he has a girlfriend and has not shown interest. Then there is Ethan, he is Aly's best friend and he has been in love with her since college. After three years, Paul has finally started showing that he likes Aly as more than his assistant and friend. Unfortunately, when their relationship turns romantic Paul messes up in an ultimate way which pushes Aly right into Ethan's arms. Before this life changing event, Aly had never seen her best friend as more than that, but now she is seeing him in a whole new light. What will happen when Aly finds herself stuck between the two men that mean so much to her? Can she get past the heartache Paul has caused her? Who will win her heart?
Laura Dunaway has done an amazing job writing this story and portraying each character. The story is written from Aly's point of view and let me say I could completely feel her disgust, hurt, and sadness as if it were my own. Do not get me wrong the happy moments I enjoyed too, but some moments just made more of an impact than others. Aly is such a genuine character that you cannot help but love her. Although sometimes I still wanted to throw something at her! As far as the flow of the story, it flowed really well for most of it, but I did feel towards the end it dragged in some places. This book is definitely worth reading!!
